At the moment I've gotten 12 different Bitcoin donations via Ark (https://arkade.wallet) totaling ~$60... and one guy on Twitter asked to donate via Chia and sent $150. Bitcoiners are falling behind. 😂

I actually went to a Chia conference a few months ago. I just happened to be in the same city and figured why not?
They had a lot of focus on making NFTs happen...

I vaguely remember that kind of trade-off being mentioned in a technical talk on chia "farming". But I don't remember the details.
That's like complaining that buying your wife a gun to concealed carry is supporting rape.
When this issue surfaced I was sure it will kill the whole project. The fact that they solved it and are still around is pretty cool.
