But it turns out I actually spoke to Kanyuk and another soldier at his position a few months ago. They had a problem with their generator, and I was helping them debug it. In the end I found a replacement generator small enough to fly into forward positions on a vampire drone, a technique that we used for a different forward position that had also lost its generator. In a similar spirit to my now decade old segwit consensus codereview, I (and one of my clients) thought it would be worthwhile to do a code review ...

I just published by BIP-110 code review. My conclusion: if you're running Core, absent some kind of attack, nothing will happen. You may still want to do something for replay protection if you want to try to sell BIP-110 coins. But your ₿ are safe.

...and the unboxing video, where Sean installs the new training simulator on their main gun and try it out: It's a very clever design: since these large AA guns are aimed by IR camera anyway, the simulator is simply be a tablet with an IMU and trigger switch. The IMU figures out where the gun is pointed, and the software simulates where the bullets would go if you had been shooting for real. The tablet itself just straps on in front of the screen the IR camera would be connected to. _Far_ cheaper than a purpose built simulator. Allegedly the moment when Russian military engineer Andrey Tisarev was assassinated on behalf of Ukraine, in Samara, Russia. He was head of thermal physics and gas dynamics at an enterprise that manufacturers and services engines for Russia's strategic bombers and helicopters. Impressive stuff. He explains how he, a former American marine, ended up doing real estate in Kyiv, and volunteering his time to do anti-air defense as a civilian. I also filmed Sean explaining how the gun and simulator worked, and the unit trying it out for the first time. I got a chance to try it to, and managed to down a simulated shahed. 😂 Working on editing that footage. ...and right on cue, the far left psychos have started gearing up to try to get Ukraine to stop fighting: Russians pay taxes, about 50% of which go directly to paying for a genocidal invasion. They're no different than the soldiers using the weapons they've paid for. Merely blowing up their oil refineries and power plants is already a kindness that they do not deserve. There is nothing ethically wrong with Ukraine intentionally killing so called Russian "civilians" to collapse the Russian war effort faster. This is doubly true for the ~1 million Russians who have moved to occupied Ukraine, forcing out the Ukrainian population and stealing their homes in the process. They're clearly war criminals directly participating in genocide.

The videos from the latest Ukrainian attack on Moscow are wild. Though the funniest has got to be how Russian anti-air defense seems to have blown up an oil tank: The only Russian anti-air defenses proven to work. Tower cranes:
