There are still a few places that allow for non-KYC “full” Sims, but they are typically not attractive unless you live there. These Sims are data-only, they’re the perfect travel Sims and I myself use them even at home.

Cool yeah no my question meant "if there are no calls, you don't need KYC, that's what the rules say?" I mean who uses calls anyways don't people have WhatsApp or whatever.

Freedom is so intoxicating
Yes I have it installed, it’s metered usage, and I find it confusing to keep myself informed which provider incurs which cost, which can differ by a full magnitude in the same country. It’s not very cheap if you use it regularly, unless you consume very little data. I mainly use it as a backup to get internet to buy more LNVPN packages lol

Agreed. I mainly use it as a backup as I run around with my phone on aitplane mode 99% of the time. I also have my phone set up to have most things offline and only background talk on the apps that I are critical so very low usage (Maps, mesaging, banking app) when I do turn it on and only have it on for the time I need it. I might spend around $0.10 in one day using it in that way. So cheaper than any other plan if used in this way 😁
