not sure, we are going to release an alpha of notedeck first in a month or less, then after that I will get an alpha of android working before end of year

I was hoping that egui would fix that, but I may implement emoji parsing and build a custom renderer just for emojis if they don’t. @Mike Dilger ☑️ ‘s gossip has this same problem since we’re using the same ui lib:
