Primal has set the standard for UX by, in large part, developing a *full stack* client that, while still maintaining relays as the authoritative source of notes, is able to deliver the UX that users expect. Other clients have foolishly hamstrung themselves by demonizing server code even when it serves user interests and in no way compromises user autonomy or #Nostr decentralization. In other words, purity signalling was costly and gave Primal a huge advantage. View quoted note →
Ah, a shitpost 😂 Got me with that one lol. It’s been a recent topic of debate on here so I’m curious when an otherwise intelligent and common sensical person like yourself says something like that seemingly unironically.
Yeah. I'm a bastion of logical thought all to myself. Not sure what got into me. 🤣 I havent been on nostr a lot lately. I wasn't aware of the growing hater crowd. I do remember the irritation with shirtless surfers on Primal some mo ths back... this seems different.
It’s the same vein of hate that Apple and Tesla users get. Some people just hate things that actually work well and companies that build products their customers/users actually like. 😂
It's annoying that primal are trying to be twitter. Every time twitter gets an update they just copy it. But it's the only client that works half the time.
Haha, right? 😂 Just tryna keep it spicy in the timeline! But fr, what’s your take on the whole debate? Think it’s all just noise or is there some real tea to spill? 🍵💬
