"There's a SpaceDog waiting in the sky He'd like to come and meet us But he thinks he'd blow our minds"
Haha! Great song! Also very ironic but I'm listening to David right now.
No, I may add rss, it uses blossom for media hosting, and the app has a custom nip for tracks I created.

Cove Is Live! Cove.band is value for value music streaming! Features: Upload, Share, Zap, Publish, Music! When turned on, auto zaps support artists with payments you set every minute you enjoy their work. Create playlists and a library that stays synced to Nostr. Hope you enjoy, in the near future I hope to create a media server ran by Cove, Free Nip05s for artists. I will be continuing to build this, if anyone wants to help they are welcome to, it's open source. I would like to make this mainstream, and eventually an Android and IOS app as well. Thanks got the support! https://cove.band

RSS will give you access to an existing library of thousands of songs (get api from podcastindex.org ) as opposed to trying to build a library from zero.
Great, how would I implement that with Nostr though? Wouldn't it just mix podcasts and all kinds of stuff together?
Uses a custom created nip, going to implement more options and rss probably in the future.
You'd have to figure out the zaps. With rss, lightning addresses are part of the metadata within the feed. At some point you're gonna need to figure out splits as well. Without the rss implementation, artists risk duplication which confuses their catalog, so it will prevent most serious artists from using at this stage.
I doubt any rss feeds are embedded within nostr because if there are any edits, you 1) risk duplicating feeds again and 2) you cannot ensure users will ve served the latest updated files because you cant guarantee all relays have the most up to date info (we see this with user names and lnaddresses on regular nostr)
Alright, I could do split zaps and lightning payments, I am also going to eventually set up a custom server that is dedicated to this to host the files, and this can also act as a host in rss feeds for other apps as well.
Yes I fixed it and it should be using the same standard as most other apps.
