Probably took a massive short position first
He/they sold these thousands of BTC simultaneously on many exchanges, including DEXes, to trigger cascades of liquidations. I think he/they bought most of it back immediately at lower prices. Market makers and leveraged degens got rekt. I bet this was profitable and will repeat.
