It's time for a #Bitcoin-friendly shipping solution.
As a #Nostr merchant, I want to pay for shipping with my sats, but unfortunately, my go-to label provider, PirateShip, doesn't accept Bitcoin, and neither does any other shipping provider that I am aware of.
There is an opportunity to be had here...
Who can fill this gap and build a shipping solution that integrates seamlessly with Bitcoin? We need someone to make it easy for us to pay for shipping with sats and take our businesses to the next level.

I tried a few all of them were either more expensive than the regular rates, and rather clunky.
Would be cool to see someone offer up Bitcoin-only shipping labels.
I’m surprised that someone hasn’t tried already. Haven’t even seen the idea been kicked around until somebody messaged me about it
In the meantime, I buy Visa egift cards w/sats thru Bitrefill (no KYC) and add the card to my Pirate Ship 🤷♀
It's not a perfect loop...nothing will be, anytime soon. I can't pay for my meat in Bitcoin, nor do I absolutely need to, but I make do with workarounds like above.

I've spoken with a few vendors and just the other day one of them specifically named you as being a likely next vendor to talk to whod be interested. Working on the logistics of physical trade routes. Its all about a clean break from the existing systems "necessary" hooks.

We need one that integrates directly into BTCpay supported stores. Does your BTCpay server store your order data and send tracking update to customers?

It doesn’t, I’m using something called resend.com which takes the tracking number info from pirate ship

Check out my website. The order flow is there! Then that info comes into btcpay, and then I have to manually copy / paste into pirate ship
I think this shipment may already be fully earmarked but more coming. Theres a bit more to it (for now) than just place an order unfortunately... we still need to get some last mile logistics sorted but that is something we are coordinating thru local meetups as we build out the network. Do you have a local meetup you're with? Either way, lets talk soon. Im assuming you have pretty regular orders with your jerky production?
I hate meetups, and now that I think about it, my measly orders are probably not worth your effort at this time.
Trust me, I wasn't expecting to just place an order. I know these things aren't perfect, especially sans govt protocols (which is the most important to me)
(don't get me wrong, I'm a very outgoing person, I organize local anarchist markets in my community--but the meetups I hear about are just 30+ y/o white guys standing around cheering about "price go up" and having lectures about investing/government adoption/legalization--no thanks, I'm just a lowly P2P #MoE shill)
Yeah I understand and definitely unfortunate if your local geoup is like that. Not all meetups are the same though. We have quite a few women in ours and we r heavily focused on education and circular economy. In fact I find the exact opposite to be true, all the mertups have a very unique flavor. Many are NGU focused, but a lot aren't.
The chat group is filled w/angry emojis and people saying "Pack it up!" meanwhile we were happy to be 58k less than a year ago lmao
