I've always felt that if your food is being made for looks you're doing it wrong. It's the old pick 2 of 3 conundrum. I usually choose delicious & nutritious. If it's pretty on accident that's ok π

Yes, for home cooking, definitely. Although I do appreciate a little decorative touch now and then, like fresh basil or sesame seeds sprinkled last. Doesn't have to look like art though

I need a nap now. Honestly it's so low effort, spice up the beef ragu with the smoky spices throw in the beans and corn, then whip up the cornbread to put on top trying to avoid unsightly brown spots.
