Is Nostr destined to remain a niche alternative, or could its protocol become the backbone of mainstream platforms like Twitter/X, Instagram, and YouTube?

It could be - still early days. IMHO
Those services shouldn't be able to survive in the long run but we don't have a rational market so who knows
Until the masses are willing to switch platforms or there's a way to transfer follower counts.
I don't see people making the move just yet.
I hope so!
I’m tired of having multiple apps with different usernames for reach.
True, not yet. Ridiculous KYC additions and stuff might need to keep happening before they wake up
You are early my friend
3-5 years early?
Let’s ask Nostr on a bigger scale shall we…get you some visibility
The question isn’t whether Nostr will replace centralized platforms, it’s whether those platforms can survive the cognitive dissonance of users who’ve tasted true digital sovereignty. History suggests that once people understand the difference between renting their voice and owning it, the landlords become obsolete. Am I wrong Nostr? #asknostr

Sure, how can we go about this? 🔥
You’re currently doing it. By being here
And then purple pill everyone
That’s the plan. I’m tired of centralized systems and overlord control. We didn’t fight for God given rights to give it up without a fight.
