I'm a partial Ashkenazi, so I believe. I can shed some light on this potentially. We claim to be the chosen people of Yah, when we are the Kings of the East (in the Young's Literal Translation, the kings from the rising of the sun), as we were sent to Palestine after WWI and WWII. We are the Khazars of Khazaria, and we're actually pissed off at the Russians (back the, the Rus people), because they correctly identified a threat, and shut us down in the 800's. As part of this humiliation ritual, we were forced to choose an Abrahamic religion, but our Khagnate chose Judaism, purely because we're Satanic (read: Catholic), and the Talmud was already written for us during the 2nd Temple era, where the actual Judeans (White Europeans of today, by the way) were already brainwashed by the Antichrist of that time, which was the king of Babylon (before we got out of that captivity). We just tend to hope people don't notice us being the Synagogue of Satan, as Rev. 2:9 and 3:9 correctly point out, because we say we're Judeans (also known as Judahites), but we're not, but we do lie.
