@mindsprome I think it was last year(?) they "federated" their content so that now it can be viewed and interacted with on "Fedi" servers (Mastadon, (ugh) Blue Sky, etc., I'm on one called http://Poa.st). I'd say "everything but video" but I can't open those videos even if I open the Minds post directly and try to play it which makes me think it's locked behind account access. That's fine, it's their way to save on bandwidth, though no Fedi server I've seen has to do that. Anyway, there's a little globe next to my name on Minds that I think when you click it will take you to the server I'm on. I'll also note that I cannot poast there (just as you cannot poast here), only reply.

@mindsprome Minds vids don't play for me, but I'll note that some Japanese diner show on Youtube had a takoyaki proprietor who noted that depressingly, due to inflation, they make them with konnyaku now (i.e., rubber bands made from plants), but they still call them "Takoyaki" which is like buying a "corn dog" somewhere and finding it filled with bean paste or something.
