@utxo the webmaster ๐งโ๐ป is streamlining it to be as accessible as possible to someone who knows nothing about Nostr at all, and I think that's great. We need clients like that, even if they aren't for everyone.
There is a valid argument to be made that multiple login options aren't actually confusing for normies, because they already see that all over the place in services they regularly use. Ones that come to mind are Spotify, Netflix, Discord, Zoom, and Airbnb. Netflix and Discord are particularly worth noting due to their option to log in by scanning a QR code using a device you are already logged in on, which is not so different from the flow of using a remote signer.
Nevertheless, it's still
@utxo the webmaster ๐งโ๐ป's prerogative to make those decisions that he thinks will provide the best UX for his target users, even if I disagree. It's HIS client and the only way we are going to find the experience that will prove engaging to more folks than those of us who are already sold on Nostr is if many client developers try many different things.
And at least I have a previous version of Wisp I can still use with my Amber signer.
