This one is a full-throttle, zero-script joyride! Pro wrestler, cover band rockstar (Walk of Shame), voice over wizard, and self proclaimed modern day Renaissance man “Spiffy” Sean Styles struts into the studio with hosts LX and Havok and immediately turns the mic into a wrestling ring, a Star Trek bridge, and an 80s/90s nostalgia time machine. From Attitude Era war stories and paying dues with the Wild Samoans, to Picard vs Kirk supremacy debates, Tribble rants, Quake LAN-party flashbacks, Elden Ring rage quits, and why Havok thinks your new music is “suspect,” Sean delivers two hours of high octane, ADHD fueled tangents, life philosophy (“find something you love… then figure out how to get paid for it”), and zero filter elder millennial wisdom. Pure chaos, zero filter, maximum laughs. If you love nerd culture, real talk, and conversations that bounce like a pinball machine on espresso, this episode is your new favorite neurodivergent rabbit hole.

Join Havok and LX on the Space Tomatoes Podcast for a thoughtful conversation with Dr. Marc J. Defant, professor of geology and geochemistry at the University of South Florida. A scientist whose career began with volcanoes, Dr. Defant brings a data-driven perspective to one of today’s most intriguing debates: evolutionary psychology versus social constructionism. What shapes who we are, biology rooted in hundreds of thousands of years of hunter-gatherer life, or a blank-slate mind shaped only by culture? Dr. Defant explores how instincts, testosterone, gender roles, and evolutionary pressures still influence modern society, relationships, parenting, education, and even campus culture. Expect clear, evidence-based insights on masculinity and femininity, male parental investment, sexual selection, and why recognizing our biological heritage can actually support, rather than undermine, equality and understanding. This episode is perfect for anyone curious about the timeless nature-versus-nurture conversation and its real-world implications today. Science-first, respectful, and eye-opening from start to finish. New episodes every week hit subscribe and join the Space Tomatoes crew! image

This is really cool so I thought I would share it. If you have an EcoFlow you can actually use server rack batteries, and with an additional MPPT you could surpass the input watts by charging the server rack batteries. Pretty cool stuff. #Solar #EcoFlow #Offgrid

GM Nostr! Well it is officially that time of year. The limited days of one egg omelets are upon us at the farnstead. One of my favorite times of year, when we get to experience the best egg ever to be laid. I present to you, the goose egg, closer to a 50/50 ratio of yolk to albumin which makes it creamy and delicious. Chicken egg added for scale. image

Alright folks this one is some real life living history. If nothing else show the man some love for his experiences and willingness to share them. Please share this out, this man has some amazing and very heart warming tales, worth the listen. 92 years and still able to take on a long form podcast. #History #WWII Join hosts LX and Havok as they dive into an intriguing chat with the legendary Jim Paulk, Naval Academy grad, submarine Officer, marine conservation crusader, and master storyteller. Jim spills the beans, or tomatoes, on his classmates' jaw dropping tales of Holocaust escapes and moonwalks to inventing GPS and dodging WWII bombs in dugout canoes. Hear about his own adventures, like banning gillnets in California, rubbing elbows with The Platters, and the heartwarming "Baby in a Basket" miracle that kicked off a 92-year epic. Packed with wit, wisdom, and a dash of nostalgia, this episode proves relationships are the real superpower. Whether you're a history buff, adventure junkie, or just love a good yarn, Jim's stories will have you hooked faster than a bass on Fishing Friday!

image Not bad at all, low and slow with a higher temp towards the end. Absolutely perfect in my eyes. Rested for 25 minutes. Highly recommend tri-tip if you have the patience.
