France has so much unused power, and its nuclear plants suffer from having to modulate their output lower. but they refuse to allow btc mining. Instead they let a US company mislead them into giving it up. if it hadn't been for persistent counter-lobbying by Gouspillou, Statchenko and others, MARA would have exclusive access to French nuclear. Insane. France could have a stronger grid, optimized reactor usage, steady revenue and less US interference, but it has so far chosen to steal defeat from the jaws of victory. I keep hearing that agents are much more effective with statically typed languages, but have seen no evidence that's true.

a "conversation" with an LLM is an anthropomorphism. a chat should re-render the context at every turn, so the LLM only ever sees a system prompt, a context message, and your message.

fwiw Elixir always been S-tier at docs, and its all of a sudden paying off big. like I can call 'Code.fetch_docs(module)' and get the docs at runtime. so I can generate skills or let the LLM get context on the fly. View quoted note →

Like python, elixir can fetch docs from bytecode at runtime, so now I have an LLM creating modules, then creating skills from those modules' docs, so it can then create new more complex modules and so on. autonomy loop 🌀

why couldn't we let users sign events / log in by presenting a qr code, and have the user sign from their signing app? wouldn't go thru relays, signer could be offline. would be a bit of a QR dance (scan then be scanned), but otherwise seems ok. #asknostr
