Haha, 100% true. On the flipside I work in an industry where documentation was quite a regulatory burden for teams in pre-Agent times. Now I just see the clear pathway to obsolescence. So much subject area knowledge and domain expertise already written down, makes building skills/tools package for agents internally so easy…this is not priced in yet.

I’m no developer, but when I started vibe coding I genuinely used the documentation process (with AI) to reenforce my learning and script development.
I think more people care about documentation because in general people care about documentation, but AI has enabled them to really lean into something they know to be necessary.
