Trudeau’s gvmnt prints a ton of currency during the pandemic -> prices go up as a result -> people adapt by eating out less and grocery shopping more -> grocery stores make more money because they’re getting more customers even though their very low profit margins remain the same (no corporate greed, just cause and effect) -> Trudeau maliciously scapegoats grocery stores while neglecting to mention that his gvmnt caused the whole situation -> he threatens businesses (that ensure Canadians have access to food) with higher taxes if they don’t fix the problem he caused -> he’s young and his suit is fitted and blue -> the people clap The government stole purchasing power from the entire population by printing currency. This drove prices up and messed up the economy. How is a grocery store going to fix that? Confident ignorance is indistinguishable from malice.

NotABot Stats Update In all, 162 accounts participated, 63 led the pack by completing the assignment and becoming verified NotABots, and 33 of those took it a step further by reciprocating at least once. Along the way our progenitors collectively dished out 260 verifications to get things rolling. Points will be awarded accordingly. I’ll be setting up a Nest to meet with anybody interested in discussing the future direction of NotABot, share what worked and what didn’t work in terms of developing an app like this entirely on Nostr, and to solicit your feedback about what you’d like to see more of. If there is any curiosity about how I did any part of it technically, I will gladly answer all questions. I very much appreciate everyone’s patience. Back in January, somebody asked about our New Year’s resolutions. Mine was to stick to my academic plan. As much as I’ve wanted to throw that out the window and work on Nostr, the most important promises we make are to ourselves. I also always prioritize my IRL friends and family, and my health as we all should.
