The US is falling so hard on its face over and over we’re going to have to remove taxes on bitcoin just to prevent regular people from losing everything. I’ve made the same argument with critical economic policy like student loan forgiveness and UBI— would not be surprised if both happen under a GOP majority, it’s really that bad.

If, theoretically, I were to live in the US and hold any #Bitcoin, I imagine the complexity of short and long term capital gains tax would likely be a constraint on my frequent spending of it.
