I think a better implementation, and the one that will fit within current debit card regulation (as it’s not legal to charge a fee to use a debit card, but it is on credit card)
Is the cash discount method.
Many, many business do this now.
Price is $10 unless you pay cash (paper fiat) it is $9.75 (or whatever discount)
The way I handle it in my biz is, clients receive a 21% discount if paid in BTC. View quoted note →

Good morning Nostriches!
Grilling early while it’s still cool…
Ahh heck whom am I am kidding!
I’m grilling while it’s not as hot as it will be and the grill is in the shade.
Dang these tropical mornings can’t go away fast enough. 4 months of pain for 8 pains of gain.
Sounds sort of like Bitcoin LOL
Have a blessed day y’all.
Have a full weekend of some fiat mining and connecting with family via a Celebration of Life ceremony for my wife’s aunt whom passed not too long ago.
God bless.

Yep!
We homeschool and are currently going through the Degree Free workbook.
So many options beyond the ~8 jobs a kid can think of.
And I agree; having a 9-5 sucks.
The sooner people learn to make fiat work for them, and optimally—move to a Bitcoin Standard. The sooner they will be in control of their life. View quoted note →
Hit up this first magnitude spring today with the family.
Never been to this one…
Our son holds a fond memory of many years ago “hiking with grandpa and crossing a creek on a log bridge”.
He always brings it up as a core memory.
Whelp…today we beat it.
He told us twice this is his new favorite experience and memory.
Didn’t stack any sats today; but I have to say spending time with the fam is better than even stacking sats.

“Which is better? A world where things get cheaper every year and our purchasing power increases, or a world where things get more expensive every year and our purchasing power decreases?
In a deflationary world, aided by technology, things would be cheaper to produce and a lot more affordable. People would not have to hold value in assets such as real estate.
In such a world, property and other value-preserving assets would be much more affordable. Everyone would benefit—except governments and large corporations who depend on and hold large amounts of debt.”
When I read this excerpt from Thank God for Bitcoin, I was reminded of Dave Ramsay’s stance against debt.
And while I don’t 100% agree with Dave on everything, when I read the above I couldn’t help but wonder if he actually understands money (fiat) or is his stance purely philosophical?
He’d argue it is Biblical, which I agree that 99% of consumer debt is in fact destructive and not aligned with God’s will, in particular as people often use it to fuel consumerism.
But is his stance rooted in the principle of money being sound?
Probably not as he has many rants against Bitcoin (unless he’s changed his stance and I’ve missed it).
I think that is more important than the debt argument.
We have debt because the money isn’t sound.
It’s a first principles thing.
Maybe “fix the money, fix the world” is more true than one realizes…
Good Morning Nostriches!
“Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.”
It’s easy to get muddied from the muck and mire of today’s trials.
And while your trials may be different and perhaps harder than another’s, remember to remain steadfast for this too will pass.
If not here and now, than there and with Him.
God bless your day my friends!

This is true.
And I’ll add, I believe everyone is a leader; starting with themselves.
The heirarchy is really this:
1. God
2. Self
3. Family
4. Others (neighbors, community, team/biz) View quoted note →
