I’m really glad to see this topic getting the attention it deserves.

My cousin Saya won gold in BMX for Australia at the Paris Olympics! 🥇
Over breakfast this morning, she’s was asking smart questions about bitcoin.
Please show her how cool the Lightning Network is by sending digital gold to a gold medalist?

People often don’t realise when their freedoms are being slowly stripped away—it’s the perfect boiling frog analogy.
Elon Musk’s unchecked power and influence clearly show the danger of centralised control.
Protocols like Nostr offer a way to challenge. Decentralisation is essential to holding the powerful accountable.
I don’t agree with everything The Guardian says, particularly their reliance on government intervention, but it’s a start.
Thank you to everyone working in Bitcoin and Nostr so we don’t let the gradual erosion of freedom go unnoticed—before it’s too late.

Morning Psychos. 🫡
Eighteen months ago, I responded to a New York Post article titled:
‘Bitcoin Fans Are Psychopaths Who Don’t Care About Anyone, Study Shows’.
The piece was categorised under the ‘mental health’ section.
However, my editor wouldn’t allow me to use the word “psychopath” in my rebuttal, so I had to rewrite it.
I ended up posting the original, uncut version on SubStack, but it didn’t gain much traction, after SubStack was shadowbanned by Twitter.
Given Bloomberg’s recent headline:
‘Crypto Owners More Likely to Have Psychopathic Traits, Study Says’,
I thought it might be time to revisit the topic.
Study shows, study says… perhaps the ‘studies’ are confusing bitcoin with crypto. It’s both funny and frustrating.
So, here’s why I know bitcoiners aren’t psychopaths—the uncut version.
