RIP Dame Esther Rantzen In the UK we have the incredible charity Childline, which Dame Rantzen founded, a phone number any child can call for support/counseling. A godsend for so many children with nowhere else to turn. A remarkable charity, founded by a remarkable woman.

A side effect of Napstrfy I hadn’t even thought about is just how good audio quality is! Its so noticably better. Spotify compresses music as much as it can get away with to save overhead, a slow enshittification of music, none of us notice. Napstr music files are much more likely to be larger and higher quality. I get that brain-tingly feeling from music again. Seeding music doesn’t just feel better, it sounds waaaaay better too! It really is amazing how 27 years later that utilitarian Win98 Napster UI is so very good.

For all the seeders out there who remember what it was like to own music and be happy, Napstr👌
