Few can afford a REAL home now. A place with space - space to learn, space to work, space to relax, space to exercise, space to rest, space to grow, space to host, to bring friends, to play music, to create art, to raise a family. The best most people can do is afford a small house with little space. Or an apartment, perhaps. A “home” where you can never escape the sights and sounds of your neighbours. A place that can hardly be considered a sanctuary for the body or the soul. Worse still, most people are reduced to renting. Giving you limited autonomy over your _temporary_ home, and nullifying your ability to truly make it your own. Were become accustomed to this. We’ve come to accept it as inevitable. The idea of a private place which you are sovereign over, that can become an extension of yourself, an expression of your character, your soul, your dreams and your ambitions, is off the table for most. That is, unless you can escape the fiat matrix. This is why we Bitcoin. We Bitcoin to take back what is rightfully ours, we Bitcoin to reject the inflationary paradigm that has stripped us of the kind of soulful living that we all yearn for. Bitcoin brings back the dream. And just like the homes we seek sanctuary within, Bitcoin offers us all a true sanctuary from the oppressive regime that has brought us to where we are. Bitcoin is not just a fight for monetary sovereignty. It’s a fight for our ability to find peace, comfort, joyfulness, and inspiration in the home. It’s a fight for our very soul. image

A “beautiful human being” is one who lives in harmony with their virtues—wisdom, courage, justice, and temperance. Such a person is not fragmented or torn between competing desires, but rather lives with a unity of thought, intention, and action. This inner integrity allows us to remain steady, to live with purpose, and to be at peace with ourselves, regardless of external pressures. Marcus Aurelius emphasizes that to be truly human is to focus on what our proper work should be. Our work is not to accumulate wealth, power, or influence, but to fulfill our nature by living virtuously, by exercising our reason in the service of what is good, and by contributing to the common good of humanity. To apply this wisdom, we must constantly return to the question: What is my proper concern? Instead of being scattered by the noise of the world, we need to cultivate that unified self, grounded in reason and virtue. Our humanity is not defined by our circumstances, our successes, or our failures, but by the alignment of our actions with our higher nature. When we live with this unity, we become not only more fully human but also more resilient, more compassionate, and more capable of navigating the challenges of life with grace. image

I figure that since I’m finding more and more interesting accounts sharing interesting and thoughtful posts on here, maybe I can add to that… Here’s a stoic principle invites us to shift our focus from seeking fulfillment in external things—wealth, status, even the approval of others—and instead to turn inward, understanding that true goodness lies in how we shape our character and respond to the world. The Stoics remind us that external things can be taken away, disrupted, or lost, but our ability to choose wisely and virtuously remains. When we understand that the only real good resides within us, in our thoughts, intentions, and actions, we free ourselves from the anxiety of trying to control what is beyond our power. To apply this in our lives, we must cultivate an awareness of where we place our desires. Are we chasing after fleeting pleasures or external validations? Or are we investing in developing inner virtues—courage, integrity, wisdom—that no external force can take from us? In every situation, we should ask: What is within my control, and how can I act with goodness here? In each moment of decision, we hold the key to our own well-being. Protecting our good means being mindful of our choices and their alignment with what truly matters. The law that Epictetus refers to—that we must get the good from ourselves—is both a challenge and a liberation. It asks us to stop looking outward for validation and start trusting the strength of our inner virtues. This is the path to a life of peace and resilience, where we become unshaken by the world because we carry the good within us, and do not seek it from external sources. image

🔥SFP083🔥 Truth, Awakening, and Breaking Free from the Old Guard ft. Meta Prime In this #podcast episode, I talked with Meta Prime, a pseudonymous content creator who's committed to building systems grounded in truth and practical solutions. We dive deep into the fundamental question: how do we rebuild when trust in mainstream institutions has collapsed? Meta Prime shares his personal journey, from recognizing the lies that shape our current society to crafting a new path forward. Is it possible to step away from a broken system without descending into chaos? And more importantly, what does it look like to live a meaningful life outside of those mainstream narratives? We also explore the idea of parallel movements. How can people who’ve “woken up” build systems that are healthier, stronger, and free from the delusions of today’s world? This conversation is about much more than theories—Meta Prime offers real, actionable steps for anyone looking to move forward in a grounded, productive way. If you’ve ever found yourself questioning where to put your trust and how to navigate a world that feels increasingly detached from reality, this conversation might give you a glimpse of what comes next. Love that the weekends give me the opportunity to invest more time in a great breakfast. This one is a bed of chia seeds soaked in almond milk, then a layer of blended banana, peanut butter, avocado and pea protein powder. Topped with chopped apple, strawberries, Brazil nuts and pumpkin seeds. I’ll never get bored of this. #vegan #food #nutrition image

For so long, I wrestled with Twitter. An endless torrent of noise, fleeting thoughts, and shallow interactions that left me feeling hollow. It was a place I fought to carve out meaning, only to find myself drained, lost in the churn of algorithms and outrage. I clung to it out of habit, and out of concerns for losing my voice in the sea of voices. Now I’m really committing to Nostr, I can feel a shift within me. It wasn’t immediate, but gradually I’m feeling a sense of contentment settle in. Here, I’m not wrestling anymore. The interactions felt real, grounded, free from the push and pull of the rigged algorithms of Twitter. I can be more meditative with my posts again, in a space where my thoughts aren’t diluted, and the flow of conversation carries a deeper current. It feels like stepping into a still lake after years of battling waves - here things are calmer, more reflective, more peaceful. I realise now that on the bird app I had been trying to force meaning in a place where it no longer existed. Nostr is a place where my thoughts, and my posts, have space to grow, to evolve, unburdened by the noise. Now my job is to find my authentic voice again - not shouting into the void, but speaking with clarity and depth. There’s work to do in rebuilding a community, but I feel a strong sense that this is the place to do it. image

It sucks having to rebuild your community from nothing on a new platform. But this is the price we pay to be sovereign. This time, we’re building on solid ground, and not the shifting sands of big tech - which have proven certain to swallow us up. This time we’re building with the right people, with the right values and with the right goals in mind. That’s worth starting again for. image

I’ve recently got into breathwork, and after being an on/off meditator for years (mainly off), I feel like I’ve finally found a mindfulness practice that feels natural to me. I’m someone who is always overthinking, and meditation has always been difficult for me for this reason. Breathwork for me gives me a much more effortless entry into the meditative state. This is a really good intro to breathwork for anyone interested. https://youtu.be/Gb9YxCC5WBw?si=IwIU6DcmZay6jRRa

What I love about #Bitcoin and #Nostr people is that they don’t just sit around and complain. They channel their frustrations into building systems which obsolete the unfairness and degeneracy of the old world.
