Decentralization gets a lot of attention with Bitcoin and Nostr, but the real value is in the resilience of the networks. A resilient network can survive and adapt when things break or get attacked. If miners leave the network, Bitcoin keeps going. If relays go down on Nostr, new ones pop up and people adjust. These systems are hard to stop and quick to recover, and each challenge makes them stronger. Together they complement and reinforce each other, compounding their network effects. This is why I nostr.
