This episode has sparked a thought which I'm finding hard to express. To create the perfect Al you program the perfect rules and have increasing energy that allows the Al to evolve as it continues to learn to the point where it can decide for itself and change the rules as required. Let's say satoshis aim was to create the perfect society so he comes up with the perfect rules for money and uses that as a way for society to learn and evolve with increasing access to energy as needed until it gets to the point where it can co-operate to change the protocol as needed. le bitcoin as the rules and society as the Al which follows those rules and evolves.

Am going down a really depressing rabbit hole thanks to LaserHodl (? @Laser ). The central banks seem to be speeding things up. - EU pressing ahead with CDBC (surveillance & control) - EU, US, China, have complete KYC of money - EU, UK, limit cash withdrawals - Thailand and Vietnam - tests in freezing non-KYC bank accounts - US stable coins - stealth CDBC and stealth KYC to steal from the last holdouts ie cash of the poor and the unbanked (abt 1.4 billion ppl, lots of money to steal). I think they need to secure all the wealth in the world before they unleash the war/pandemic/alien invasion etc during which they steal everything. I wonder if it’s speeding up because they underestimated the effect of bitcoin entering the financial system. Either way something is happening here.

The federal reserve was formed in secret. US$ went off the gold standard quietly. People only saw the effects way down the line. Petrodollar was negotiated in secret. I got a feeling the present monetary reset has already happened and everything going on now is just a distraction.
