Good night, NOSTR Friends! It has been a good day filled with good things. Church in the morning, lunch and grocery shopping this afternoon, and sweeping the former "Wood Room" in the basement. My wife made some YUMMY chocolate chip cookies for our (church) small group get together. The ducks are put away and it is dark our. Presently my wife is discussing selections of 4-H projects with our children. It looks like this summer will be busy!

It is absolutely beautiful outside! The sky is beautiful with a mix of clouds & sun, birds are chirping, and I finished mowing the yard for the first time this year. I don’t know how to make the day better - maybe steaks on the grill? The winds will be fairly calm tonight, maybe we’ll have a fire in the backyard… I hope your afternoon was good!

Good morning, NOSTR Friends! My calendar says today is Thursday, so that means tomorrow is the last day in the mines before the weekend starts. Last night I finished putting the final touches of a PC I built for a friend (no, it is not my machine 😕). I was amazed at how fast it is -- it installed Windows 11 in 4 minutes. A far cry from the days when it took an hour to install, or even when the days when Windows came as a set of floppy disks! Weather in northern Ohio is supposed to be really nice today! The Weather Channel is calling for sunny skies and high temps in the 80's! It should be a great day to work outside! Speaking of working outside...After making coffee, I'm going outside to pick up sticks in the yard and mow our grass. Have a great day, friends!
