So we’ve gotten a lot of rain over the past two days! We had water in the basement Tuesday, and I got it pumped out. Then, it rained yesterday. A lot! I stayed up overnight watching/checking the basement pump periodically throughout Wednesday night. Water continued to rise in basement despite the pump working all through the night. Somehow the dehumidifier tipped on its side. I heard it try many times to come on, but it did not stay on. I hope it still lives. (Logic says it should be dead, but it isn’t my nature to be too pessimistic…or, apparently, realistic… We shall see!) I hope my freezer still lives. It is on 6” of concrete blocks, and is on high-ish ground (for the basement). I prayed throughout the night that the rain would stop and that the pump would be able to catch/keep up with the water coming in the basement. But it seems I was answered with a “No”. We have better than 8” of water on the basement floor. I am eagerly waiting for the rain to cease, (Weather Channel app says it should e done soon - for today and tomorrow…) and that the temps outside to get into the mid/high-60’s. Then I’ll open the windows and let the warm air in! I’ll be calling someone to inspect/snake out the floor drain/tile in our basement. It has been open/working great for the 12 year we’ve owned the place. Have a great day, everybody!

Hello, NOSTR Friends! I hope you’re well. I am sitting outside enjoying the breeze and listening to the birds sing. It is a breezy 67 degrees out here, and the birds are singing. I’ve seen at least four trains go by today - two of them had a lot of empty car-carriers. I imagine they must be off to pick up a couple loads of new vehicles to take to dealerships. How is your day? Are you crossing things off your to-do list? I hope so! Have a great rest of your day!

Good night, NOSTR Friend! I hope your day was good. I learned a little about the effects of not eating enough , and choosing the wrong foods. I started off by eating fruit (sugar high), and eating soup for lunch (another sugar high, feeling like I was really dragging. Then, about 3:00, I had a mid-afternoon snack (peanut butter) and that made me feel better, and held me until supper. Stupid mistake, really. Now it is evening, and time to start thinking about bed. I hope you have good sleep, and you wake up refreshed tomorrow morning. FWIW…. I saw a fellow on YouTube talking about atmospheric shenanigans tomorrow. Good morning, NOSTR Friends! I hope you’re well! It is overcast and 24 degrees in North Central Ohio. The Weather Channel says today’s high temp will be 38 lovely degrees. I will not be trading my jeans for shorts. (It is too cold, and nobody would appreciate that… 🤮🤮🤮) I’m puttering around in the kitchen. Butchered a pear and a plum. Next is to make coffee. Then I’ll get the ducks out and look for eggs. I’m going to check the mailbox to see if the veggie seeds I ordered last week have arrived! I hope they did! Good night, NOSTR Friends! Today opened with a BOOM! My region of the USA was treated to a close encounter with a 6’ meteorite first thing this morning. Now I’m getting ready to turn in for the night. I didn’t get as much done as I was hoping to - partly because I lost track of EDC items that I needed ( I love how strokes modified my memory a few years ago…), partly because my morning routine got turned on its head, and partly because my youngest little only had me to care for her today. (Wifey and the two eldest were at homeschool group day.) Sleep well, and I hope you wake refreshed and ready to take on the day tomorrow!

@Maria2000 How are things with the fire situation? Did they get it under control? Are y’all (and animals, etc.) safe? We had a meteorite strike somewhere in northern Ohio about 9A. Sounded and felt like a semi hit our house! Local news said (an hour later) it was a meteorite entering the atmosphere creating a sonic boom. First time I remember experiencing that! It made the house shake!

Happy Tuesday, NOSTR Friends! I hope you’re well. It is cold (25) and quite breezy here in North Central Ohio. We are nearing our high temperature for today (28). This morning began with a boom! I live near the Ohio Turnpike and thought a semi truck wrecked, or a pict might have gone off the road and hit the front of the house (unlikely). Anyway, the house shook and there was a great big boom. After searching for potential damage to the house/fallen trees, I called a friend to confirm that others heard the noise, too. Then I went on FakeBook to see what was being said. It seems that the noise was heard across the region (Port Clinton to Youngstown, and south to Akron ). Or turns out that a meteorite entered the atmosphere and we all hear the sonic boom. (According to the National Weather Service). I’m posting a link to what a local TV station said about it… Well, I hope that’s the most exciting thing that happens here today!

So…FWIW…this morning I remembered having seen a video on YT, but not having time/energy to fully digest the content. I decided to watch it later. Trouble with that is I didn’t have time to watch it this morning. I decided to have Claud analyze the content & analyze the concept, giving me feedback. I needed a transcript of the video, so I found a free service at: https://notegpt.io/youtube-transcript-generator. Once the transcript was complete, I copied it into Claud and told “him” to “analyze the theory explained in the following text. Tell me if it is valid, and the best way (financially, taxes, automation) to accomplish it.” Then I dropped the transcript in the command and hit “enter”. It took a while, but gave me back a 13-page Word doc with its results. I then asked if Claud saw any way to automate this process. It gave me pointers to automate the process. Now I need to read the document that Claud made. Thank you, @ForrestHODL !!!

Good morning, NOSTR Friends! I hope you’re well! I’m trying out something new. I want Claud to analyze and outline a YouTube video. Claud doesn’t have capabilities to do that in one step. So I copied the video link and went to google to find a service to transcribe the video for free. (https://notegpt.io/). If that completes, I’ll drop the text into a word doc and have Claud analyze that! Where there’s a will, there’s a…RELATIVE! (Sorry, I had to do that…😈)
