I played a commercial gig a few days ago and “Son Of Mr. Green Genes” (from “Hot Rats” 1969) by Frank Zappa is one of the songs I had to learn 🎵I am pretty guilty of not having checked out Zappa’s discography a lot, but it must have been intimidating to play or tour with this guy. The sound of the band is what the late 60s and 70s zeitgeist is all about!
