I've only really used nostr. I've used nitter in the past for viewing things. I don't care about being on the same centralized system that has network effect.

I did tell you that 2026 started out on a wild note. First a head of state was arrested by a foreign government, then Bayer sued Pfizer and Moderna for patent infringement of the mRNA tech and now this?! It’s only January guys πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ€‘πŸŒ View quoted note β†’
So they made an alternative to twitter that is just as evil as twitter but in a slightly different way... Hopefully both wTwitter and xTwitter both fail.

Gosh! I hope at least the user experience on this one will be enough to keep them away
Just a matter of time and incentive before the hUmAn vErIfiCaTioN gets bypassed by bots. On top of that you can't have privacy and that verification bullshit at the same time. This is so ripe for data breaches, imagine what so-called russian hackers could do with a data brrach fill of biometric data of EU politicians. Censorship and 'blocking misinformation' are literally the same thing. Any interesting conversation will get auto-modded, deleted, erased. And the participants will get penalized. Very free speech, much freedoms This is just gonna be the next Threads, an empty dead void full of bots and NPCs.
βš‘πŸ‘€ WATCH - This is how the social media platform called β€œW” was presented in Davos at the World Economic Forum. It aims to compete with X and requires mandatory human verification for posts, which will require photo verification of users. β€œA social media where free speech and privacy are real” View quoted note β†’

Hahaha…good luck
To me this smells like desperation. EU has no more than 3 years left. Let's start a centralised fuck social media platform. LMAO
Real 'Trust the Science' vibes. Ironically I wonder how many fake accounts the EU will spin up to make it look like they're doing numbers

The social media for boomers
NaaaΓ h, man, I'm good with #nostr. I have my web of trust here, no ID required. Keep your EU surveilance away from me. I value my privacy too much for this ... STUFF. image
At some point it will no longer be optional if surveilance works well enough, it will be regulated as amndatory. We will have no freedom of speexh and we'll be happy, or at least I think out overlords are betting on.
