it is simply disqualified in my mind by the fact that what is "interesting" is defined by who uses it to promote their debt-fiat-driven extraction system. nostr has its own algorithms driven by its most popular entry points but in the deep substrata lie people who are actually surfacing novel things. yes, twitter surfaces some of that too but the bias is much more obviously extractive. with nostr at least some of it is genuine human interaction.

i rate youtube as a better source for this kind of interaction, it has less of the influencoor mechanics and more of the AI driven randomness which is still better than X. that's my opinion anyway. for me, X is a less contentious but similar platform/forum with the same rotted culture warped by advertising promotional dynamics as Reddit, and honestly whenever i have filters or ip addresses that cause me to be blocked by reddit search results. i am happy. because fuck reddit. and by extension every social network that functions on similarly distorted incentives.
