Satoshi never implied that we'd have to stick with Bitcoin. He made it very clear that we should fork away in search for something as good, if not better. What does suck is that we wasted 17 years on something we're now selling to wall street. What a waste of time.

I wouldn't say Bitcoin has been entirely captured (yet) but the retail order books certainly have been captured. I think BTC is completely captured but for the moment I agree it is still functioning as medium of exchange and store of value. But the evil forces can do with it whatever they want at any moment because they control the miners. I also think its price is already controlled too. If its in their favor they can increase price, if not they can crash it or they can increase the supply etc. What we see them doing is actually using BTC's old reputation to shill stablecoins CBDCs. If you put it this way, there is no arguing. Btw "medium of exchange and store of value" is terms we've gotten from Wall Street. Just like the stupid DCAing. "electronic cash system" is what we signed up for.

"Bitcoin is for everyone" is still valid for XBT Blake2b Bitcoin It means Freedom Money. It means that it never refuses an account to anyone and when sufficiently decentralized (which is a must) it never censors a monetary transaction.

We will see. I think Blake2b resembles best the Satoshi's ethos and those of Freedom Money meaning it has the best monetary properties. The other forks were not successful because they worsen their monetary properties, the same that BTC is doing with spam.
