Pi-hole. Route the devices on your home network through it, as their primary DNS. Use it to block large lists of known malicious network destinations, be they surveillance, spam, scam related, or otherwise. It's also possible to use it to prevent Apple / Android devices from 'phoning home' ...
For me Nextcloud is extremely useful and I use it every day to store personal documents, synchronize calendaras and shopping lists across devices or just share files with friends and family. If you are already using a password manager have a look at vaultwarden. It let's you synchronize your bitwarden data without relying on anyone else.
