My favorite part of the Declaration of Independence is that the founders of the United States Government did not share this sentiment.

My favorite part of the declaration of independence is the oxymoronic statement: governments derive their powers from the consent of the governed. A very obvious contradiction when you take a moment to question its validity. Governed people literally cannot consent. The founding fathers were hypocritical statists. Slave owners that wanted to be free lmao. So they started a war to gain sovereignty only to then turn around and create their own government. Anarchy is the only way. Kill your heroes.
