Yep! I couldn't figure out why there was so much push to convince everyone they were born in the wrong body and that they needed to be put on hormones and have surgeries. When you want to depopulate the world, you can't just start killing people because you'll lose your head, however, if you can convince people to chemically and surgically sterilize themselves, then you don't get blamed. Suddenly this insanity makes sense. The people behind this are monsters, but not unintelligent.

What i couldn't figure out is why they would do it with scare tactics and vaccines? You'd just end up getting rid of all of the most obedient and fearful people. Part of me thinks that's intentional. If you make that decision to better the human race, the people you keep are all of the most independent and self sufficient. And since world overshoot day keeps coming sooner, it might actually be necessary. Not to mention how many just sheer fucking idiots keep breeding. I'm torn because you would have to be at least a little bit of an evil narcissist to pursue that at all, no matter your motivation.
