Will it? Because I still don't really see how... The more I look at it, trying to be as honest and fair and understanding as possible, the more I come back to what looks to me like it's just some sort of declaration play that one could do at the kitchen table between the two parents alone. But maybe I'm wrong... I've been wrong before :)
It's still quite interesting... and I'm not sure if I should just categorize it as another LARPing session we've got so used to in the last decade or so, or there's something in there ...
Anyway.. thank you for providing it

I don't quite understand the entire significance of what they've done, but I can understand it from a personal context.
While caring for my father as he deteriorated due to Alzheimers, I soon realised that the system was not designed to help. The formal processes we had gone through such as obtaining a "Lasting Power of Attorney" (LPA) actually worked against us.
I ended up understanding the system and how to use it and when to engage and how to engage it.
Friends that did not question authority or process, that were in the same position, ended up having their lives torn apart by authority for various reasons.
Despite them seeing what I was doing, they couldn't bring themselves to do the same, because the government knew better.
