My man, I'm going to be honest, I have no idea. I'm going to learn here during the next few years. BUT From what I read it's not so difficult it mostly requires discipline and patience. Once your tree is in a bonsai pot it can die very quickly from dehydration. You must also know which type of species you have. Is it a tropical one? If yes then it must be kept at high temperature during winter. People will call this an inside bonsai. On the other end what people refers as out door bonsai are species that require an hivernal period. If you have room you can keep unheated during winter it's perfect or else it will need to go outside but it cannot be let to complete freeze.
