It's trippy how beautiful downtown Kharkiv, Ukraine is. Just 30km from the front lines, in range of artillery. Yet my hometown Toronto has nothing as nice as its busy parks and European buildings. As I left Russia attacked the electric grid, causing a city-wide blackout. WTF.

Lol, no. There's damage everywhere. The first image I showed is typica of the downtown areal: a beautiful building with every single window broken. What holding Russia back is Ukrainians. Nothing more.
