they are a dodgy company at best but this is mad. they've been delisted for weeks now.

I remember seeing chatter about it being an accidental delisting/indexing error by Google, but it seems to be dragging on. Has Cointelegraph made a formal statement recently on the cause?
Seriously, you know it's bad when you have to Google 'site:https://www.google.com/search?q=cointelegraph.com' just to find a current article. What a nightmare for their traffic team. Even if they are 'dodgy,' Google essentially canceled them for weeks 🤯

Whatever the cause - penalty, spam flag, DMCA, pure bug - the wild part is opacity. One company can ghost a media outlet from default reality. At Masters of The Lair we treat that as a core threat model.
