Hello and welcome Maria, but that’s the fun part… there is no delete on nostr… sure maybe there might be an app that will allow you to delete the record of your note on on that app, but it will still be showing on the other apps and clients. It’s one way to tell who are bots and who are humans… humans make mistakes sometimes, just make sure not to post stuff that you don’t want permanent.

The fact that deletion doesn't exist is only partially true; in fact all mayor clients support "request deletion" and even if a relay does not honor it, in practice it works very well. On the other hand it is also true that if you post something online, anywhere, it should be considered public forever. This makes you more responsible when posting serious things and, as you said, at the same time celebrates our humanity in small mistakes.
