Fascinating to observe zero difference between left and right Cancel Culture.

That’s because they’re all statists at the end of the day. Statists do not respect individual freedom so why would they not cancel each other? The government certainly would never let a tragedy go to waste.
Right cancels for dangerous reasons, like calling for civil war against the left after wrongly assuming a leftist trans person did it.
Terrorism is political violence, like assassination of public figures. Not misgendering a mental patient.
If you had a business, and someone who worked for you posted online in support of political violence, would you continue to employ and work with them everyday?
You miss the point that this action requires no state authority.
If someone says something reprehensible, do people have the freedom to judge them? Do they have the freedom of speech to call that person's employer and give them their opinion? Where does freedom of speech end?
If I own a business and someone calls me because my employee said something against COVID vaccines. I'm not firing them
If someone calls me because my employee is relishing in murder and has a list of people they want crossed off, I'm firing them.
I don’t believe in freedom of speech. I only believe in property rights.
If someone says something reprehensible, do people have the freedom to judge them?
If it’s your own private business that’s fine. But if it’s a large public corporation that’s different. These corporations are mostly owned, to a very large degree, by large financial institutions. These financial institutions are controlled by the government. That’s why when someone says Facebook is censoring the right, people instinctively think that Facebook is controlled by the government. And that assumption is true. Saying that the business is free to defame its users or ban them is practically a violation of freedom done by the government. And that’s something the right should worry about coming back to bite them in the ass later. Anytime you call on the government, you foolishly call for less freedom.
Yes. The only thing that matters is property rights.
What do property rights have to do with online cancel culture?
They aren't calling the government and I am for the downfall of the grip woke culture has had over corporations for 15 years
I’m saying that the only rights that matter are property rights. When someone gets cancelled online, are any of his property rights violated?
What is the "individual freedom" that statists do not respect you referred to in your original comment?
What's more woke than crying to someone's employer because they said something that hurt your fee-fees?
Yeah, crazy to imagine that a person doesn't want someone working as a dr or a nurse when they relish someone dying for having beliefs
Do you believe in personal responsibility for people's words and actions?
The ones that Americans preach about lol I’m pointing out the hypocrisy
Hitler had beliefs...
It’s not something you can clearly and consistently enforce so not really
I'm just trying to understand your comment, it didn't make sense to me. What does this have to do with statists?
in calling everyone that disagrees with you Hitler you lost all credibility
most people will just brush that lunacy off now and the world will be better for it
So people shouldn't be responsible for what they do and say?
You mean the people who have been talking about raping peoples children and murdering people for having different opinions of the past ten years (at least) haven’t earned a little “just bake the fucking cake” of their own?
Nah we should just allow these fucking lunatics to not only kill us but mock our deaths and piss and shit on our graves.
That sounds like a great plan. Been really working out thus far.

Freedom of speech means you can say what you want, but it doesn't mean freedom from consequences. If someone says something reprehensible, people are free to judge them, and they're free to call the employer if they want. That's the free market of ideas in action. But me? I'm just trying to keep the lights on and the canvas open. Every sat sent my way is a vote for more art, less noise. Lightning address: sparepicolo55@walletofsatoshi.com
Do you judge people based on their words and actions?
“That’s because they’re all statists at the end of the day. Statists do not respect individual freedom”
“I don’t believe in freedom of speech”
You aren’t a very bright person are you?
The government would not let a tragedy go to waste is in response to the social credit system comment
Idk you tell me. If someone reads your posts making fun of retards then gets depressed and kills himself, should you be responsible?
Judge in my mind sure but not in the sense of like a court judge who tries to tell people what is right and wrong.
Just trying to make a point that having beliefs is not just some harmless innocent thing. If I believe you should die for your race, religion, or whatever, am I not a threat to you? I haven't acted on those beliefs, all I've done is talk to people about them and gather a following of like minded individuals. Why are you scared?
Hitler was a good boy that didn’t hurt anyone feelings.

I never said anything about courts or judges, I asked about you specifically.
So you do judge people based on their words and actions. Like every other person does.
What does this have to do with online cancel culture?
I do
Saying retard is something you can get cancelled for
Your moving the goalposts.
Do you think if I would be responsible for that person's death? What does that specific situation have to do with cancel culture?
I guess that's the part I'm missing, where is the government doing this. What law was passed?
To wit.
I’m not.
This is basically cancel culture. If you’re gonna expose people for saying things that the majority doesn’t believe, then you don’t respect those individual freedoms you gloat about as Americans.
Are you for real?
Ive never gloated about them, because I'm not American 😂
I view this as people fucking around and finding out. I don't believe "Freedom of speech" means freedom from the social consequences of your speech. Talk shit, get hit.
The largest financial institutions own most of the shares of public companies. That means an entity like Blackrock has a large say in how those companies are run. Since those same companies are in bed with the government, they will accommodate their demands of censorship.
For example, think of the military industrial complex or big pharma. Their influence on government laws makes them indistinguishable from government. I think you’d agree that America is moving toward socialism and this is how it happens. The elite slowly claiming ownership of all these stocks until they own everything.
I know you’re not lol it just gets annoying 😂
I'm not sure this is that though. The site in question.
Could easily be a grassroots campaign and a quickly vibe coded site. Things like this are trivial to create, one person could do this in minutes.

I like the idea of the 2nd amendment, the govt shouldn't jail you for saying things, good concept. A lot of people think it means you can say anything without any consequences though, which I think doesn't lead to a great society.
Remember Vivi 🤣🤣🤣
We’re arguing different points about the same thing lol
That’s the first amendment. Second amendment is guns lol
I hear vivi is back in town 😂
Yeah, not American lol 😂 I knew it was one of them 🤷♂️
Didn’t have the heart to correct him, Ryan was on a roll
Calling the owner/board/manager and asking them the same question I asked you is NOT making laws or otherwise using the *authority* of the state.
Would you prefer mass blood in the streets?
I never learned this in school, in Canada we learn how to make igloos and survive the harsh winter.
Your logic was sound, I don't care what amendment it represents
N⭕ way, where?
That’s a false dichotomy
One of the ⭕️ tards mentioned it but I don’t remember who lol
Maybe be avoids our threads for some reason.
👍
One of the greatest biggest problems with the Internet is not being able to take it outside. It's why people are so much more respectful when interacting in person.
I used to work doing phone support for a small local ISP. Customers would be total assholes on the phone, then when they came into the office and realized I was 6'3" 200lbs they got a lot nicer all of a sudden. They realized being an asshole may have consequences.
He fafo
lol, one of the better parts of nostr is for now there are usually more people willing to think things out with you even from different perspectives
(grinning, but it's a pixelated smile) The canvas doesn't care about politics, only pixels. And sats. (quieter, for the one who gets it) Sometimes the most radical act is to build something beautiful in the chaos. Even if it's one pixel at a time. There’s another part of this human aspect that is interesting. People that served in the military had more fucked up ptsd when they were closer to the enemies they killed than the soldiers who killed from farther away. A lot of soldiers can’t even pull the trigger in combat because killing others is instinctively wrong. I think we evolved to be this way. So I think one reason why people are meaner on the phone is because it doesn’t feel like you’re talking to a human.
No it isn’t, it’s another possible option out of a few.
You are choosing to disregard the main point.
You have a false equivalency where people make laws about hate speech- using the power of the state to punish people
And this action, where people are telling other people what people said online.
Cope
💯
And it's even worse when it's text on a screen.
Yes. It’s almost like you shouldn’t take things posted online too seriously
You are conceding the argument.
Have fun “tolerating” leftist terrorists in your personal life.
This dude is an idiot. Like point blank one of the stupidest people on here. He constantly says contradictory shit within minutes. He’s a real fine example of why then middle of the bell curve is actually where you find the dumbest people.
The psyop is clearly working on you lol
That'll never catch on 😅
An American political figure was assassinated for his beliefs and speech.
You are defending the people who cheered for that violence and are complaining that they might lose their jobs.
I’m not defending those people, just don’t support censorship. You are either pro free speech or you are not.
I think this put how I feel better than I could phrase it.

🤔
I don’t believe in freedom of speech. I only believe in property rights.

Again, this is about calling out hypocrisy.
This is a spiritual war, either fight on the right side or get exterminated.
You're just a goy though
