Mezzo-soprano Anja Mittermüller, from my beautiful adoptive country, Austria, won the SWR contest for young opera singers, on January 17. And she's magnificent! 👏👏👏👏👏

No need to worry about mentioning someone's nationality. You've been tricked into thinking that comes from hatred or some sort of micro aggression. You're a good person! Just speak freely. Your posts are great and I appreciate the breadth of musical moments - details included.
I believe that in art, nationality should be irrelevant.
