Its a constant cycle of revolution -> co-option by established powers -> revolution when to co-option begins the hardcore people fuck off to nostr or monero or whatever. a lot of people stay and try to find ways to rationalize adoption without becoming total hypocrites. it's a delicate balance. but anyway from a certain perspective there some truth in the OP AND in your clowning on him
