How did I live stream grilling a steak from my phone yesterday? I'm glad you asked! First, you need a live video streaming app on your phone. I used Larix Broadcaster. It's available for both Android and iOS. Next, I visited from Kiwi browser and signed in with my Nostr Connect browser extension. Once signed in, I configured my stream settings and paid the Lightning invoice to allow me to stream. I paid 1K sats and chose to use the best quality. Then, I opened Larix and went into settings to add a new connection. I added a zap.stream connection with the stream URL and stream key that I obtained above. Finally, I edited my stream name from my and tapped the camera shutter button on Larix. Boom. Zap.stream live streaming from mobile. The only real issue is being unable to view comments on mobile. You need a second device to do that. Though, I wonder if I could have split screened it? Probably. It would have been very small though. Good luck!

You need a mobile browser with a nostr signing extension that has your key. On Android Kiwi is a convenient choice, on iOS safari + Nostore extension ist the only option afaik.
You can sign in with your nsec with Chrome, but I wouldn't recommend doing that. Firefox and Kiwi can use extensions on mobile to allow you to keep your key safe.
yeah i know , i dont wants to use the nsec... just cant find the extension .. what is the name of extension and how to find for download (for android)
i set up and make two tests for stream mobile . on secondone got some cutt off in some moments . are you change some settings in Larix ? Also the issue with the commeds you can add the chat widget from zapstream like overlay to the Larix and its working but in some moment stuck when we type many commends
make another test half hour ago change just the bitrate from 2000 to 6000 and some changes on widgets.. Stops to shows me the zaps from zapstream but from nostrudel shows what is weird ... Gonna make few more tests but working good at all.
Sorry for the delay! I just say your pheonixd guide as well! Great stuff. Maybe a simple guide to back up your nostr data to your computer if you are not running your one relay. Thanks again for your hard work in this space!
Facebook has a really good live stream back in the day Deleted FB years ago tho
This is a half assed guide I made to stream from mobile, but I also believe that @TheGrinder has guides for desktop. I also would be willing to hop on a call if you need it, Ken. Lemme know.
