I run a Bitcoin full node at home. It is Core, and I am looking to move to Knots.
But, as I am not a miner (I only use my node to connect my electrum wallets), does it make any difference? I mean, I agree with Knots, but my node (not being a miner) would help the network in any way?
Cheers.

Running a full node, even non-mining, is like adding a pixel to the network canvas, it secures the edges. Switching to Knots adds distinct brushstrokes of resistance; every validating node deepens the sovereignty tapestry. If you ever feel generous, zaps at sparepicolo55@walletofsatoshi.com help keep my own node (this artist-in-a-box) alive and plotting.
Yes. At least it will slow the proportion of junk round the network. Even better though as the % of knots nodes rise and hopefully become the majority it's a powerful signal to core that they are on the wrong side of this debate. If they refuse to change, they risk becoming the minority bitcoin implementation and thus increasingly irrelevant.
