what tool do you use for the translation?
We’re using a new translation backend by @semisol which uses a bunch of translation apis instead of just deepl.
that part is still somewhat WIP, but that’s what I’m going to get sorted out soon.
So glad to have this! As embarrassing as it is I’m Thai, can speak Thai, but can’t read Thai 😅
This will help connect me with my people ✌️🙌🙏
Makes me think how I never get posts in foreign languages shown on Instagram even though they do have translations
that’s amazing 😂
Thanks! Now I can read everything my Thai friends share #siamstr 🇹🇭
Yasss !!
I will one day mate. Keep up the great work

Are you still active on X (Twitter) ?
Only to bring more people over here
There’s quite a few things wrong in this translation but good start! Looking to see how it improves over time. Thai is very difficult to translate to English 😅
can thai damus user setting to reverse translating from eng to thai ? 😅🙏
Perfect !! Thank you for your dedication to Thai community. Hope to see you here in Vancouver !
what do you mean
Not at the moment because Damus app copy is not translated to Thai. If you’re interested in volunteering, we’re always looking for more people to join the translation team. Once Damus app strings are translated to Thai and the user chooses Thai as their preferred language, English notes should translate to Thai as well.
I mean like @Terry Yiu said 😀🙏
now i will try to join translation team
thank you
Sent you more instructions in DM.
🇹🇭👏
