They have a good process by having a board of directors, which distributes the decisions more, but then it comes to the question of who is watching the board to ensure transparency and value distribution is not just collaboration ๐ค

Anyone receiving grants ought to be allowed to fully disclose the full text and terms of any contracts or other agreements with no repercussions. The relationships between OpenSats and Ten31 and all members of both organizations, and the companies and projects they invest in and give grants to, ought to be made fully public and transparent. On the surface this reeks of fiat world bullshit and if that's not the case then they need to take great care to ensure that level of transparency exists.
The layer behind the board is the donors. Incentives always drive behavior.
