Something libertarians are clueless about.
Free speech is the most important part of a free market.
Just because I don’t believe a state authority should have the ability to threaten you does not mean I have to like or condone your behavior.
If you see something you don’t like say it and say it loudly.
Free speech is the lubricant that keeps markets free and functional.

What makes you say they're clueless?
This is a libertarian position....
There are many things LARPetarians are clueless about
It’s so annoying.
Because they are
Nah
#2A is far more important than anything
And thats why they are going to pack the SC and grab the guns
Then its dystopian CCP style hellscape that will make 2020 look like the good old days
IIRC, @Knut Svanholm ∞/21M sees it differently, something like: the need for free speech laws indicates that there is an underlying property right violation elsewhere.
Been looking for his podcast appearances where he talks about it more in depth, but haven’t found it yet.
unpopular opinion, decentralized use of violence is good, market figure out to advantage good peaceful people. If theres a pedophile in your community and you have proofs of him having acted with kids, you need to say it loudly and then beat him, even kill him if touched something near your family.
I don’t like some of your takes.
But you do get me hyped about bitcoin. So I stay following.
Did I do it right?

Nope. The most important part of a free market is property rights. Free speech is a derivative of that. I don’t have the right to lecture you on libertarian political/legal theory at your dinner table, because it’s YOUR house.
Free speech is a way to respect the rights of minorities and their opinions which might otherwise be silenced by the tyranny of the majority. It protects against tyranny.
Don’t let the government control speech and manipulate information.

I think the one thing libertarians are clueless about more than anything else, is liberty!
Well put! 🙏
That's kinda weak. I picture libertarians as acutely aware of that.
elaborate.
also, I don't think you understand libertarianism if you say libertarians this or libertarians that
We must be talking/listening to different libertarians. As a libertarian myself, I agree that free speech includes the freedom to oppose people's behavior.
that sure is... uh... a thought... that... that you have. its something you think. so good job. keep having thoughts. they'll get better!
You make no sense. Libertarians are the strongest supporters of absolute free speech.
Some are. Some aren’t.
Of they don't support free speech they're not Libertarian, they're infiltrators.
Don’t make me post the meme
Some libertarians... not all.
