Three and a half months ago I unexpectedly left my last fiat job behind after the company imploded. It was my third layoff in three years. I put out the call on Nostr, where I had spent the entire year building a new community on a beautiful decentralized freedom protocol, and the outpouring of support was nothing short of heartstopping. In the weeks that followed, while recovering from surgery, I talked to founders, builders, and dreamers who encouraged me to forge a new path doing what I do best in the bitcoin world. I went to Nashville for my first Nostr conference, met a giant flock incredible plebs in real life, and came back home inspired and rejuvenated. On January 3rd, the 15th anniversary of the Genesis Block, I joined @PUBKEY as the Head of Marketing to help grow this unique and revolutionary community space and push the limits of what a “bitcoin bar” can be, at the exact moment that bitcoin is emerging from the ashes of a brutal bear market and is about to take the entire world by surprise once again.
