It means you get harmless prunable outputs instead of shit that looks like a real output but is just junk that bloats the UTXO set (which has more resource usage than a prunable output).

my understanding of printing:
archival nodes can’t prune.
so we need archival nodes to spin up new nodes, yes?
so for an individual node runner it’s a step forward, a plus.
but for tbr network as a whole, it’s no step, just stays the same at best, and bloats the chain itself at worst
seems like a very meager benefit to trade for more hefty risks
