Announcing ZapThreads, a threaded comments component built on nostr.
- Works on a variety of root events: note, nevent, naddr, URLs
- Markdown support and nostr reference handling
- Lightweight on clients and relays (~40kb minified/gzipped)
- Extremely versatile and customizable
- Available via NPM or script tag
It's the comments component in @Habla News so you probably already used it!
I wrote about it and how it can help purple-pill the web π

Hey @The Nostr Report @corndalorian , heads up in case you like it
@Karnage no rush but I'd love a #nostrdesign UX advice here as it needs some improvement
This is great π₯π₯π₯
Amazing. π₯π₯π₯ Have you thought about repackaging this for WordPress? Maybe similar packages exist to replace WordPress comments with Facebook or Disqus. I don't know how many blogs would use it, but it would be nice to have another option available for the public.
With this new tool, you can add Nostr comments and Zappable comments to your website π₯π₯π₯

Excelente trabajo amigo, increΓble.
Looks great! Couple minor notes:
1. looks a bit broken on small screens (iPhone SE 2020)
2. Would be great to have a simple embeddable script tag without having to install anything.
3. Marketing landing page. GitHub is not enough imo.
