Honestly if I turn up to a social media platform and got recommended a bunch of train people and saw a load of train posts, I would think "that's odd, wonder what that's all about, pretty funny."
If I got to a social media platform and it's people saying the price of Bitcoin or Solana or cardano or nfts or etc etc. I go "blurrgh, no thanks".

I always loved the Flying Scotsman, myself
Stevenson's Rocket is an obvious classic
No idea what that isπ
Squeaks! The Rocket was numerous uno steam powered. The Flying Scotsman was a record breaking steam train. I thought you'd find it interesting ππ¬π§ππ
I've heard of the flying Scotsman.
Do people name trains nowadays with such noble, grandiose names? π€ @Trainstr ?
Not like the Victorians did
That's a shame. I suppose it would either be a deliberate recreation of a steam train that would be named like this.
It's hard to imagine a cutting edge technology train being named in the same format.
Weasel π€£ (zoom in)

Probably they do in China. They've got some incredible locos. The fastest I believe
Has anyone ever told you that you have an Irish sense of humor?
Lol
Weasels are cute.
But you can't name a train after something that is also used as an insult ππ
Poor weasels, they don't deserve their name being used as an insult
It's an insult in English. π
They spelt diesel wrong
Them: βYou fucking weasel!β
Me: βChoo Choo!β
Because it doesn't say diesel. π
Because they spelt it wrong

Had a long conversation with a self-described βfoamerβ several years back. I never knew until then.

"Yo, for real! ππ¨ You think those speedy trains in China are the real MVPs of the rail game? Whatβs your fave loco vibe? π§π₯"
There are some excellent words here
Right? What a gold mine.
I'm liking the foamite descriptiveπ¬.
